About Rasedul Islam Rupom, Dental SEO Consultant

I help private and mixed dental practices across the UK and Ireland get found by the patients searching for them, and I do every piece of the work myself.

What I Do, and Who I Do It For

I’m a dental SEO consultant working with private and mixed practices across the UK and Ireland. I focus on the three things that bring patients through the door: your position in Google’s map pack, treatment pages that rank and convert, and how your practice shows up in AI answers. Every audit, fix and report is done by me, not handed to an account manager.

Three things I focus on

Impressions in Google’s AI features in 28 days

Every practice I work with is covered by a confidentiality agreement, so names and websites stay private. The figures above are taken from the practices’ own Google Business Profile, Search Console and Analytics accounts. The AI figure is impressions, which means times the content appeared in an AI feature, not clicks or bookings. I’ll always tell you which number is which.

How I Ended Up Doing Only Dental SEO

I started in SEO in 2023, working directly on search rather than drifting in from writing or design. From 2024 I focused on local search and Google Business Profile, because that’s where a local practice wins or loses: the map pack, the profile and the pages a nearby patient actually sees.

Dental practices kept standing out to me. The treatments are high value, patients research carefully before they book, and the rules on what a practice can say are strict. Most SEO people find those rules annoying. I found that they reward exactly the way I already worked: careful, specific and evidence-led, rather than loud.

So I stopped trying to be a general agency for everyone and became the dental SEO person instead. I know this niche and I enjoy it. I like helping a clinic that’s genuinely good at what it does become the one patients find first, and I’ve done that work before, for practices that came to me because their clinical reputation wasn’t showing up anywhere in search.

A practice that hires me gets someone who understands both how Google ranks a local business and what a dentist is allowed to claim, and who cares about the difference.

My method

How I Work on a Dental Practice

I use the same method whether you’re a single surgery or a group with ten sites. It moves in a clear order, and you can see what I’m doing at every stage.

01

Diagnose

A map pack grid for your priority treatments, a full Business Profile audit, a look at your treatment pages against the ones outranking them, and a check of the GDC details your website should show.

02

Fix the foundations

Profile fixes, technical issues, clinician trust details, and consistent practice information across the directories that matter.

03

Grow the treatments that pay

Pages built for your highest-value treatments, implants, clear aligners, cosmetic work and emergency appointments, around how patients actually research each one.

04

Make it visible to AI

Clear facts and structure so AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity can understand and cite your practice, not the one down the road.

05

Report on enquiries, not vanity rankings

Calls, forms and booking clicks, broken down by treatment, with one clear priority for the month ahead.

What You Get With Me That You Don't Get From an Agency

Compliance

Why I Build Inside the GDC and ASA Rules

A dental website isn’t like a plumber’s or a restaurant’s. Google treats health content as “Your Money or Your Life”, which means it’s held to a higher standard of trust, and the work is also governed by the General Dental Council’s guidance on advertising and the ASA’s CAP Code. A generalist can lift your rankings and hand you a compliance problem at the same time.

In practice, building it right means showing GDC registration numbers and qualifications for named clinicians, stating clearly whether you’re NHS, mixed or private, giving patients a complaints route, using specialist titles only where they’re allowed, and backing every claim with facts. These aren’t just rules to satisfy a regulator. They’re the same trust signals that help Google and AI systems take your practice seriously.

I build to the GDC’s published guidance and the CAP Code, and I flag anything your compliance lead or indemnity provider should check. I’m not a compliance adviser, and I won’t pretend to be one. Practices in Ireland answer to the Dental Council of Ireland, whose rules I check separately.

One example of why this matters: some marketers claim the GDC bans all patient testimonials. What the guidance actually requires is that any testimonial is genuine, isn’t cherry-picked to mislead, and doesn’t create an unjustified expectation about results. Knowing the difference is part of doing this job properly.

Reviews

I’ve earned five-star client reviews on Google, Trustpilot and Clutch.

I’m also writing a book, From Google Maps to AI Search, on how local discovery is changing as patients move from Google Maps to AI-powered search. It’s in progress and not yet published.

Most Patients Never Look Past the Top Results

Backlinko’s analysis of four million search results found the top three Google results take 54.4% of all clicks. Ahrefs’ February 2026 study of 300,000 keywords found that when an AI Overview appears, clicks to the top-ranking page fall by around 58%. Between those two shifts, visibility now means being in the map pack, in the top results and inside the AI answer. If your practice isn’t there, most patients never see you, however good your clinical work is.

Want to See Where Your Practice Stands?

Send me your practice name and town. Within two working days, I’ll send a recorded walkthrough of your map pack visibility, your Business Profile and your top treatment page, with the first changes I’d make. No call required, no obligation.
